Situated in the heart of northern Champaign, Douglass Branch is celebrated for its rich history and dedication to lifelong learning. We foster literacy, creativity, and connection among residents of all ages. With exciting initiatives like our new Makerspace on the way, this is an incredible opportunity to drive innovation and enhance community engagement. As Branch Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring an outstanding experience for every visitor. You’ll lead a dynamic team, collaborate with community organizations, and play an integral role as part of the library leadership team. QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or GED required • Associate degree or two years of college preferred • Five years of experience in a public library setting or related field is required • Two years of supervisory experience required • Some knowledge of Spanish and/or French is helpful • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
