Duties include: checking in materials using our RFID sorter, checking out materials using an automated computer system, shelving materials, issuing library cards, answering telephones, processing interlibrary loans, assisting members with our self-check out machines and other technology, and other assigned tasks. 

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge and skills: Candidates should have strong interpersonal and computer skills, a willingness to learn the library's circulation software and technology, customer service experience, and effective multitasking abilities. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred. Some evenings and weekends are required. 

Physical demands/working conditions: Must be able to push and pull library book carts weighing 100-300 lbs. and regularly stand, walk and use hands to perform tasks for most of the day. Must be mobile and physically able to reach up or down to shelve or retrieve materials.
